Event Security
We provide state-of-the-art aerial overwatch, delivering critical real-time information to ensure the safety and security of public gatherings, festivals, and large-scale events. Our operations are centered around the principle of ISR—Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance—a methodology that allows for proactive threat identification and informed decision-making for ground personnel.

At the core of our ISR capability is the DJI Matrice 30T (M30T). This drone is the premier choice for event security due to its powerful and versatile sensor package. It features a high-resolution thermal camera for detecting heat signatures in low-light conditions, a 48MP zoom camera for identifying subjects from a safe distance without causing disruption, and a laser rangefinder for precise location pinpointing. Its IP55 weather rating ensures reliable operation in various conditions, making it a dependable asset from sunrise to sunset.
To further enhance its active engagement capabilities, the M30T can be equipped with the optional LP12 spotlight and speaker payload. This powerful add-on transforms the drone from a passive observation platform into a proactive communication tool. The high-intensity spotlight can illuminate specific areas during night operations, search for lost individuals, or guide ground teams. Simultaneously, the speaker allows our operators to communicate directly from the air, enabling them to broadcast clear instructions to large crowds, issue verbal warnings, or help de-escalate situations from a safe and unobtrusive overhead position.
Our operational workflow is meticulously planned and executed in three distinct phases:
1) Coordination with Incident Command (Days Prior)
Effective aerial support begins with seamless integration into the existing security framework. Days before the event, our specialists meet with the Incident Command (IC) team, local law enforcement, and event organizers. The objectives of this critical phase are:
-
Establish Communication: Define clear radio channels and communication protocols for real-time reporting between the drone operator (pilot), observer, and the command post.
-
Define Objectives: Identify key areas for surveillance, such as entry/exit points, parking lots, VIP areas, and perimeter fences. This includes mapping areas/buildings/rooftops for fast identification.
-
Threat Assessment: Discuss potential security risks and define "what to look for," including unauthorized access, suspicious packages, signs of crowd distress, or anomalous heat signatures.
-
Airspace Deconfliction: Coordinate all flight operations and secure necessary waivers or authorizations (if required) to ensure safe airspace.
-
Integrate into the Plan: Formally integrate the aerial ISR team into the Incident Action Plan (IAP), ensuring our role and capabilities are understood by all security personnel.
2) Day Before Event: On-Site Preparation
The day before the event is dedicated to final on-site preparations to guarantee mission readiness. Our team will:
-
Establish a Launch/Recovery Zone: Identify a secure, pre-approved area for drone operations that is clear of public access and potential hazards.
-
Conduct a Site Survey: Perform a physical walkthrough and a preliminary flight to map the terrain, identify obstacles like power lines or trees, and assess potential radio frequency (RF) interference.
-
Pre-Program Flight Paths: Create automated flight routes for routine patrols (e.g., perimeter sweeps) to ensure consistent coverage and allow the operator to focus on sensor data.
-
Equipment Checks: Conduct a full systems check on the M30T drone, controllers, batteries, and ground station monitors to ensure everything is functioning optimally.
3) Day of Event: Mission Execution
On the day of the event, our team is on-site and operational before the first attendees arrive.
-
Sunrise ISR Sweep: As the sun rises, we conduct the first flight of the day. This critical "first look" establishes a baseline for the event grounds, using thermal imaging to spot any overnight anomalies—such as unauthorized persons, running vehicle engines, or security breaches—before the gates open. Depending on time of event, we will fly at random times to check high risk areas.
-
During the Event: Throughout the event, we provide persistent overwatch. We conduct periodic patrols of key areas and remain on standby to respond to radio calls from the IC. If an incident occurs—such as a lost child, a medical emergency, or a security threat—the drone can be rapidly deployed. The M30T's thermal and zoom lenses provide the IC with a clear, live aerial perspective, enabling them to assess the situation, direct ground units effectively, and maintain situational awareness without escalating panic.
Post-Event Monitoring
-
As the event concludes, we will be on standby, being available for monitoring crowd egress to identify potential bottlenecks or conflicts.
