Best Effort for Searching for Lost Pets

When your beloved pet goes missing, it’s an incredibly stressful and heartbreaking experience. You want to do everything you can to find them as quickly as possible. That’s why we offer a comprehensive search service that utilizes the latest technology to increase the chances of a successful reunion.  We typically fly at 300' AGL (above ground) which is a passive search heigth and greatly reduces any impact on pets or wildlife.

Our Fleet of Advanced Drones

We are equipped with a fleet of state-of-the-art SAR drones that are specifically designed for search and rescue missions. These drones are equipped with the latest technology, including:

  • Cameras: Each DJI M30T drone has a high-resolution 640x512 thermal camera, wide angle, zoom, FPV (pilot) camera and laser range finder. This allows us to search for your pet in both day and night conditions.

  • Long Battery Life: Each DJI M30T drone has four battery sets, which provide a total of around 100 acres of coverage per set (total: 400 - 500 acres). This means we can search a large area without having to stop and recharge the batteries.

  • Spotlight / Speaker: The M30T may have a LP12 spotlight / speaker to help with night searches.  The speaker most likely will not be used (used more for human SAR), the spotlight can assist the zoom camera at night.

  • Backup Drones: Backup drones are brought, which may include DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise (2X) and Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced (uses same thermal camera).

  • Location(s) can be marked on the controller screen.  They include long/lat/altitude and can be shared for searchers on foot.  The locations can be mapped with Google Maps (barcode scanner app needed on cell phone). This makes coordinated efforts work more efficently.  Converserly, a quick snapshot with the cell phone of the screen can then be texted for a more generalized locator. Ultimately, a drone hover or even a walk with the controller will also get one close.

  • Portable Generator: A 2000W portable generator is on-site to keep the batteries charged in the field. This means we can search for your pet for extended periods of time without having to worry about running out of power.

Multiple Launch Sites for Optimal Search Coverage

We will consider using multiple launch sites to optimize our search area. This means that we can cover a larger area more quickly and efficiently. If we can launch in the middle of the search area, a square mile area can be used from one launch site. We will work with you to determine the best launch sites based on the last known location of your pet.  Our purpose is to locate and loiter (keeping the pet in sight) as long as possible.  We'll mark the spot, and share the location.  This being a bar code, that can be scanned by any cell phone.  This will open Google Maps with a pinpoint. We'll be able to guide your ground crew from our view from the sky, and monitor any movement.  See the reference below on Lost Dog Behavior.

Our Commitment to Finding Your Pet

We are committed to doing everything we can to find your lost pet. We will work tirelessly to search every possible area. We understand how important your pet is to you, and we will treat them like one of our own.  Alot depends on accuracy of the information received and how soon we can get on site. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees.
